Public service announcement

As of Yoast SEO 19.6, which launched on the 23rd of August 2022, support for our Ryte integration has been deprecated. The Ryte integration would check whether your site was indexable by search engines and did so weekly.

What does this mean for my site?

If you are running an older version of Yoast SEO you may have seen one of the following notifications:

“Ryte cannot determine whether your site can be found by search engines.”
or
“An error occurred while checking whether your site can be found by search engines.”

By updating your website to the latest version of Yoast SEO, the integration will no longer work. This will not negatively affect your website or your SEO. Yoast SEO has other checks to detect whether your site can be indexed by search engines.
