Using the plugin on multiple sites
You can use Yoast SEO on multiple sites by either using WordPress multisite or by purchasing more than one subscription.
How many subscriptions you need depends on how many WordPress installs/domains you have. If you have more than one domain name or multiple WordPress installs, you’ll need a subscription for the number of installs or domains you have. See the table below for more detailed information.
Install Type | Network activated? | Subscriptions |
---|---|---|
Standard | – | 1 per install |
Multisite (subfolders) | Yes | 1 |
Multisite (subfolders) | No | 1 per active site |
Multisite (subdomains) | Yes | 1 per active site |
Multisite (subdomains) | No | 1 per active site |
Multisite (domain mapping) | – | 1 per domain |
Available discounts for multiple subscriptions
If you need more than one subscription, we’ve got you covered. Starting from 5 subscriptions, you get a discount, automatically.
Let’s put that on a convenient table for you:
5+ subscriptions | Save 5% |
10+ subscriptions | Save 15% |
* Discounts are only valid when subscriptions are purchased in the same order. The discount will apply for the same product, not a combination of several products. The Plugin Subscription is excluded from the above bulk discount.
How does a MyYoast subscription work for multilingual sites?
There are different scenarios that can occur when you have a multilingual site. You may have your languages in a subdomain, a subfolder, or have each language on its own domain.
If you have a multisite with network-activated subfolders, you need one subscription and you will need to provide the URL of the main site. For all other setups, you need one subscription per site.
