Manuel Augustin

I’m originally from Austria, but moved to the Netherlands in 2010 to study linguistics at Radboud University. Apart from a university exchange year in Japan, I’ve been living in the Netherlands ever since. I joined Yoast in 2017.

In my team, we work on making the readability and SEO analyses available in new languages. We also think about ways to optimize how Yoast SEO evaluates written content, thereby making sure that all those red and green bullets give you actionable and accurate feedback. In short, our mission is to assist users in writing great content in all languages!

In my free time, I enjoy visiting new places, trying new recipes, and I’m a huge language nerd. Apart from making sure that my Japanese isn’t getting too rusty, I’ve recently also been studying Korean.
With my passion for all things language-related, I hope to make the Yoast plug-in available in as many languages as possible!
