During the Industrial Attachment programme in my fourth year, I worked at a Personal Finance Newspaper where I got interested in Web Technology and started learning HTML using Macromedia Dreamweaver 8. After graduating, I switched to using WordPress to build small websites and became a user of the Yoast SEO plugin. I worked as a Web Content Manager for a PR firm and learnt a lot about using WordPress on a live website.

In 2014, I moved to web hosting. Empathizing with the customer and a working knowledge of the product/platform has always helped me to understand and resolve customer issues effectively. Joining Yoast in March 2018 was thrilling after being a user of the free plugin for five years. I earned a Master of Science in Computer Science (Business Computing) from Staffordshire University, UK in 2020.

Outside of work, I spend most of my time with my husband and two daughters. And when there is the opportunity, we go on family trips or explore fine dining restaurants in the city. I currently live in Nottingham, England.
