Jerlyn Parcon

I’m a graduate of BS in Information Technology from Cebu Institute of Technology. After graduation, I worked for a German hosting company where I spent two years learning about email and web hosting – it’s also where I learned about WordPress and other CMS applications.

I then moved to a BPO company that supports cable and internet connection. Not long after that, I transferred to a printing solution company where I started as a technical support then moved up as a Product Specialist and then became a Business Systems Analyst.

When I heard from a colleague that Yoast was hiring, I grabbed the opportunity and applied right away. Blessed enough, I got hired and right now, I am happily working as a Support Engineer learning more about WordPress, the community, and SEO.

Outside work, I enjoy playing with my cats and dogs. I love playing Badminton and hanging out with family and friends. I also spend a certain amount of time doing theocratic ministry service.
